The story behind Relocately

Having relocated multiple times worldwide (Amsterdam - Barcelona - Hong Kong - Buenos Aires) the founders Maurits Koopman and Boyan Nijpels experienced first-hand how frustrating the process you have to go through is.

Their mission to create transparency and unrivalled service in the traditional, conservative relocation market was kickstarted by launching the comparison platform ScanMovers in 2017 in the Netherlands. In the following two years, an investment round was closed and multiple European countries were launched.

From 2020 onwards, we have grown to coverage in over 60 countries worldwide. We have increased our relocation-related service offerings, even more so due to the surge in demand during the pandemic and the increased popularity of remote working.
