When customers compare moving companies, price is only part of the decision. Before they ask follow-up questions or trust someone with their belongings, they want to know who they're dealing with. Is the company established? Does it handle the type of move they need? Can they easily get in touch?
Your Quot8 company profile answers those questions before the first conversation begins. It makes your company easier to recognise, understand and contact, and can influence how customers perceive your quote. Even at a similar price, the company with a clear, professional profile simply feels easier to trust.
What customers see

Your profile appears in the Quot8 consumer portal, next to the customer's moving request. Depending on what you publish, customers can see your logo, company description, phone number, contact email, website, pictures, documents such as brochures or certificates, and your chat and quoting options.

Build trust and show you're the right fit
Choosing a moving company involves a high level of trust. Customers hand over furniture, valuables and items with emotional value, and international moves add customs, storage and long transit times. That raises questions: Has this company done moves like mine? Do they work in my destination country? Do they offer packing or storage? Are they insured?
A strong profile can answer many of those questions before the customer even gets in touch. The most useful information is concrete:
how long you've been operating;
the countries and routes you serve;
your specialisations, such as international, corporate or storage;
packing, storage or other services you offer;
certifications, insurance and industry memberships.
Specific facts are usually more convincing than broad marketing claims. Compare these two descriptions:

The second tells the customer what you do, where, and with which services. It also helps you receive enquiries from people who actually need what you offer.
What you can update
Everything is managed from the Company profile page:

Logo. Use a clear, current version in JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF. 300 × 300 px works well. Make sure it matches the logo on your website, vehicles and emails.
Description. It should answer three questions: what do you do, where do you operate, and why might a customer choose you? The editor supports bold, italics, links, quotes and lists, so keep paragraphs short and easy to scan.
Contact details. Check your phone number, email address and website. A wrong number or an unmonitored inbox means a lost enquiry.
Pictures. A few real photos of your team, vehicles, warehouse or storage facilities show there is a real company behind the quote. Quality matters more than quantity, and generic stock images add little.
Documents. Brochures, service overviews, insurance details and certifications answer the questions your team hears again and again. Think about what customers ask most often, and upload a document that answers it.
Chat and quoting. Enable these to let customers continue the conversation without leaving Quot8. They only work well if someone monitors messages and responds quickly, so decide who is responsible before you switch them on.
Use the Show in portal toggle to choose which pictures and documents customers can see. Not everything you upload needs to be public, so show only what is useful, current and appropriate.
Ready to make your profile stand out?
Add your logo, showcase your services and upload real company photos to help customers get to know your business.
Preview before customers do
The Preview tab shows your profile exactly as customers see it. Use it after every change.

Look at the page as if you had never heard of your company:
Is it immediately clear what we do?
Does the logo display properly?
Is the description easy to read?
Are the contact details correct?
Are the right documents and images visible?
Would I feel comfortable contacting this company?
It also helps to ask a colleague to review it. They will spot unclear wording or outdated content that you no longer notice.
Mistakes to avoid, and tips that work
Vague descriptions. "Professional moving company offering great service" says almost nothing. Name your services, areas and specialisations.
Empty superlatives. "Best in the industry" or "unbeatable service" are hard for customers to believe. Facts such as "15 years of moves between the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France" are far more convincing.
Outdated information. A former employee's email address, an old website link or a brochure from several years ago creates doubt immediately.
No real images. Even two or three genuine photos make a profile feel complete.
Too many documents. Uploading everything you've ever produced overwhelms customers. Show only what is relevant.
A few habits make a big difference:
Lead with your strongest information. If international moving is your specialty, say so in the first sentence.
Mention routes and markets you know well. Customers want experience with their specific origin and destination.
Write for the customer. Use plain language instead of industry jargon.
A quick checklist

Review your profile every few months, and whenever something important changes: a new logo or website, new services or routes, updated insurance or certifications, or changes in your team.
